Në një intervistë për CBS Neës nga Kievi, Zelensky tha se nuk e kishte menduar kurrë që kjo luftë do të kushtonte kaq shtrenjtë.
“Kurrë nuk e kam menduar se kjo e drejtë ishte kaq e kushtueshme. Këto janë vlera njerëzore, në mënyrë që Rusia të mos zgjedhë se çfarë duhet të bëjmë ne dhe si do t’i përdor të drejtat e mia,” tha presidenti.
Ai tha se ishte “dëshmitar i vdekjes” në Bucha, pas mizorive të trupave rusë.
